Glasstech Asia and Fenestration Asia 2023 achieved notable milestones in numbers through reestablishing connections within the industry evident in the exhibition space, the quantity of exhibitors, the diverse origins of visitors, and the attendance of numerous trade visitors, delegates, distinguish speakers and VIP buyers at the event. More than 4000 trade visitors from over 50 countries attended the event.

In a triumphant return, Glasstech Asia and Fenestration Asia, Southeast Asia's leading trade fair for the glass and façade industry, proudly herald the success of their 2023 edition. The event, held from November 29 to December 1, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand, garnered participation from over 4000 trade attendees representing more than 50 countries, solidifying its reputation as the paramount platform for the region's glass and façade industry.

The latest edition of Glasstech Asia and Fenestration Asia celebrates its success after its conclusion last Friday. In total more than 2000 attendees from over 28 countries were attracted to the event that held the fair alongside an all-inclusive variety of side events such as the inaugural Asia Façade & Glass Conference, Singapore façade tour, International Year of Glass (IYOG) art exhibition, buyer-seller meetings, and an annual networking gala dinner. The influx of exhibitors, delegates and visitors demonstrates the importance of the onsite exchanges of knowledge and the value of establishing our regional platform as the leading industry meeting place.

Riding on the success of the previous webinar with PERAFI (Indonesian Façade Association), the latest edition was held virtually on July 29 and focused on the international perspectives of façade design and applications. Subject-matter experts from around the world shared valuable information on tackling and overcoming challenges faced in the industry. The online sessions recognised the need to keep up to date with the latest developments and supported a better understanding of best practices in façade design and their applications for different countries.

Glasstech Asia is pleased to collaborate with PERAFI (Indonesian Façade Association) to introduce a new series of webinars, Glasstech Asia x PERAFI, that focuses on facades and its related building materials. Bringing together international industry experts, the webinars seek to improve the excellence of building façade industry through active discussions on key topics and content sharing from different industry players, from property developers to architects.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 18th edition of Southeast Asia’s leading trade fair for Glass and Façade is postponed and will now take place from 26 – 28 October 2022 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre in Singapore. This decision was reached by MMI Asia after a series of meetings and discussions with the industry, including Glasstech Asia’s supporting organisations and stakeholders.

Glasstech Asia Online Conference, powered by BAU and BAU China, happened on the 27th of April 2021. Leading the glass and facades community ahead, the online conference brought together a network of glass and facades professionals around the world, to learn, discuss and to explore new networking opportunities through technology. Following the success of the first online conference, Glasstech Asia Online Conference 2021drew over 150 registered attendees.

With the successful end of Glasstech Asia Online Conference 2020, Glasstech Asia will be unveiling its next two events of the series – Glasstech Asia / Fenestration Asia Online Conference 2021 and Glasstech Asia / Fenestration Asia 2021. This year, Glasstech Asia / Fenestration Asia - powered by BAU and BAU China will be held for the first time under the direction of MMI Asia and Messe München, where participants can look forward to an even higher quality trade fair with a new international supporting program and framework.

Glasstech Asia 2019, held from 12th to 14th November at the Indonesia Convention & Exhibition (ICE), Jakarta, showcased cutting-edge glass industry innovations. With over 3,500 attendees from 16 countries, 127 exhibitors, and participation from leading international organisations, the event was a hub for networking, business opportunities, and industry knowledge exchange. Key highlights included conferences, competitions, and a projected business value of over USD 86 million.
